Do you recognise this woman?
We would like to speak to her as we believe she is possible witness to a robbery in Bitterne, Southampton at around 1am on Christmas Eve last year.
A 55-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were walking down West End Road when the man was allegedly assaulted by another man.
The woman followed him down Bitterne Road to the Lances Hill Car Park where he then assaulted her and stole her mobile phone before running away.
She was found by police laying in the carriageway of Maybray King Way.
The male victim sustained bumps and scratches to his head and the woman had no lasting injuries.
The male suspect is described as:
-In his 20s
-6ft tall
-Average build
-Dark-coloured hair and facial hair
-Wearing light coloured trainers, blue jeans, a white/cream t-shirt and a dark jacket when the robbery took place
Since the incident was reported to us, we have been following up various lines of enquiry and are now turning to you for help.
We believe the woman in this image witnessed the robbery and therefore could have valuable information to help our investigation.
