CCTV image released as part of investigation into serious Fareham assault

We’re releasing a CCTV image as part of our ongoing investigation into a serious assault outside The Oast & Squire pub in Fareham.

Police were called at 10.16pm on Thursday 8 December 2022 after a man in his 30s had become involved in an altercation with another man outside the pub on Peak Lane.

During this incident, it’s reported that the victim was assaulted, including being head-butted and thrown to the floor, following which he hit his head on the curb and fell unconscious.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to a fractured skull, and has since been discharged.

As part of enquiries, we want to identify and speak with the man pictured in the image as we believe he may have valuable information to assist us.
