We are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died following a collision on the A31 last night (January 28).
Officers were called just after 11pm to the incident, involving a red Yamaha motorcycle and black Honda Civic on the A31 Petersfield Road, at Chilcomb.
Emergency services attended, however despite best efforts, the motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man from Alresford, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Officers investigating the exact circumstances of the collision are keen to speak with anyone who may be able to assist our enquiries.
Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you saw a red motorcycle or black Honda in the run up to the collision or maybe you have CCTV or dash-cam footage?
