We are asking for witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward after an elderly man was injured in Southampton on Friday 13 January.
The incident occurred between 9pm and 9.30pm on Summit Way.
The victim – a man in his 70s – was located outside an address on Summit Way having been suffered minor injuries. It is also alleged that a number of personal belongings – including a quantity of cash – had been taken.
We are aware that the injured man was taken back to his home address by a passer-by and then informed the family of the man’s injuries.
Officers are keen to speak to this person as they may hold vital information which could aid our investigation. Was this you? Perhaps you were in the area around the time of the incident?
