Officers investigating the assault of a man in Four Marks have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
It was reported that the victim, an 18-year-old man, was approached by a man in Winchester Road at around 5.30pm on Monday 27 February.
An altercation then took place near the petrol station in Winchester Road.
The victim sustained a small wound to his back.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of this incident.
Officers arrested a 24-year-old man from Four Marks on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
He has been released from custody on police bail, with conditions, while we carry out further enquiries.
We are appealing for witnesses to this incident, which took place near the main road through Four Marks at a time when people would have been out and about.
