Officers are hoping to speak with him in connection with a robbery that happened at the weekend.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, was in Merkur Slots, Above Bar Street, at around 12.15am on 26 February when she was approached by an unknown man. He asked her to exchange notes before trying to snatch money from her hand.
When outside the venue, the suspect has tried again to take money from the victims hand. He made away with a quantity of cash, and the victim sustained a minor injury to her hand.
He is described as being around 5ft 5ins with a skinny to medium build, with black curly hair and a dark beard. He was wearing a black beanie hat, a dark coat with a pink hoody underneath, jeans, and brown shoes.
