Police investigating serious collision in Southampton appeal for witnesses

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Southampton yesterday morning (Wednesday 23 August).

At 9.44am a cyclist and a blue Renault Captur collided on Millbrook Road West. 

The cyclist, a man in his 40s from Southampton, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, where he remains at the current time. 

Officers investigating this incident are appealing for anyone who saw the cyclist on Millbrook Road West before the collision to please make contact.

We would also like to hear from the occupants of two cars and a van who were travelling behind the Renault Captur at the time of the collision.
