We are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Lyndhurst yesterday morning (August 4).
The incident occurred around 10.50am at the junction for Chapel Lane and Bournemouth Road, involving a car and a Suzuki V Storm motorcycle.
Following the incident, the car failed to stop at the scene.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 80s, suffered serious injuries in the collision.
Officers are making enquiries to identify the driver of the car involved.
As part of this we are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, in particular anyone with dash cam footage from Bournemouth Road around this time.
We are also appealing for the driver of the car to make contact with us urgently.
