Do you recognise this man?
Officers are keen to speak to him in connection with an assault in the Southampton area.
It comes after a woman was waiting in her vehicle on Kesteven Way between 3pm and 3.30pm on Thursday 8 September to pick up her child from a nearby primary school.
Whilst waiting, the woman was approached by an unknown man who had entered her vehicle using the passenger door before attempting to make sexual advances towards her.
During the altercation, it is alleged that the woman fended off the man, however the man assaulted her in the process – with the woman suffering minor facial injuries - as she was trying to get out of her vehicle.
The man then fled the scene.
He is described as being white, 20-25 years old, approximately 5ft 5ins tall, very slim build, fair light hair and a facial hair on his top lip.
The man was seen to be wearing oval shaped glasses, an off-white t-shirt, navy blue tracksuit trousers and holding a blue fleece at the time of the assault.
Do you know who this man is? Does he live locally? Perhaps you were in the area at the time of the incident and remember seeing an altercation take place?
