Officers are appealing for information after a woman suffered serious injuries in Lyndhurst.
A 12.09pm on Monday, 31 October the 23-year-old victim was walking along Southampton Road through Lyndhurst when pallets of bricks became dislodged from a passing lorry and struck her.
She suffered serious injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a Pitter self-drive van, whose driver was trying to flag down the lorry driver prior to the incident to warn him about the insecure load. These people many have vital information that could assist the investigation. These vehicles travelled from Rushington to Lyndhurst along the A35.
We would therefore like to hear from anyone who either witnessed the above, the incident itself or has any information to that could help.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting 44220442367.
