Appeal for witnesses following assault in Southampton park

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Palmerston Park between 8.15pm and 8.30pm yesterday evening (9 May).

A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman were walking through the park towards New Road and three teenagers were walking behind them.

The trio then assaulted the boy and woman, leaving him with minor cuts and bruising and the woman with pain in her jaw.

The three boys are described as follows:

-Aged 16 to 18

-5ft 8ins tall

-Black

-Medium build

-Very short hair

-Wearing all black clothing

 

-Aged 16 to 17

-5ft 6ins tall

-White

-Medium build

-Blonde-brown hair in braids

-Wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, and a black balaclava covering his mouth

 

-Aged 16

-5ft 5 to 5ft 6ins tall

-Mixed race

-Larger build

-Wearing a khaki green Puma tracksuit with the hood up

Can you help us identify the three boys? Did you see what happened? Do you recall anyone fitting these descriptions acting suspiciously in the area?
