Officers would like to speak to him in connection with a theft that took place in Hythe on Friday, 3 June.
Sometime between 3.20am and 6.20am, GPS Marine radio, handheld radios and other items were stolen from The Hythe Ferry and Hythe Pier in Prospect Place.
Officers have been carrying out initial enquiries and are keen to identify the man in this CCTV image.
