We are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward after a teenage boy was assaulted in Fordingbridge.
The incident occurred at around 3.50pm on Saturday 9 July on the Fordingbridge High Street.
It is alleged that a large group of young people have become involved in an altercation outside of the George Pub on the High Street.
During the altercation, it is reported that a 15-year-old boy was assaulted after being punched in the face and struck with a crutch. This had spilled out onto the road causing traffic to stop.
This resulted in him suffering injuries to his face and back.
The group then quickly dissipated from the area, fleeing the scene.
Police have carried out initial enquiries but are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, filmed it on their mobile phone or who may have dash-cam or head-cam footage to please contact us.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call 101, quoting crime reference 44220274773.
