We are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a serious assault in Aldershot yesterday (Monday 10 January).
At around 5.45pm, a 38-year-old man was stabbed on Pickford Street and was taken to Frimley Park Hospital to receive treatment after he sustained injuries to his abdomen.
His injuries are not life-threatening.
A 28-year-old man, from Aldershot, has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in custody.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to help with the investigation.
