We are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault which occurred outside the Oast & Squire pub in Fareham last night (Thursday 8 December).
Police were called at 10.16pm after a man in his 30s had become involved in an altercation with another man outside the pub on Peak Lane.
During this incident, it’s reported that the victim was head-butted to the floor and fell unconscious after hitting his head on the curb.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains, however his injuries are not deemed life-threatening.
The man who carried out the assault was described as:
Officers are carrying out enquiries and will be reviewing CCTV. In the meantime, we would like to hear from anyone who was involved in this incident or witnessed what happened.
