Were you in Fordingbridge High Street, yesterday afternoon? Officers are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic incident.
We are appealing for information after a 91-year-old woman suffered serious injuries during a road traffic incident in Fordingbridge.
The incident happened between 2.25pm and 2.35pm yesterday (Thursday, 8 December) on Fordingbridge High Street outside Belindas Bakery and Coffee House and is thought to have involved a light coloured 4x4 vehicle.
The 91-year-old lady from Salisbury suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where she remains.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or may have seen a 4x4 vehicle being driven around this area around this time. They would also like to hear from anyone who saw an elderly pedestrian walking prior to the incident and of course anyone who may have dash-cam footage to aid their investigation.
The road was not closed by police, but ambulance were at the scene until around 4pm.
