Between 8.45pm and 9.15pm on Wednesday 24 August, a man in his 50s was assaulted by a group of men near Cheyne Way, close to the pathway that leads to the motorway bridge towards Curly Bridge Close.
He was punched and kicked and was left with a fractured arm, a swollen left cheek, cuts to his nose and face and a swollen right eye.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries, but are now appealing to the public for help.
