We are appealing for witnesses following an attempted car theft in Havant yesterday (2 September).
At around 9.40pm, a woman in her 50s was reversing in her car at the junction of Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue when a woman and two men attempted to steal the vehicle.
It is alleged that they smashed the window of the driver’s door and demanded the victim got out.
The victim then fled the scene and asked nearby residents to call the police.
When she returned at around 10pm, her car was still there but the three individuals had gone and the keys in the ignition had been taken.
The woman is described as:
-White
-Chunky build
-5ft 6ins tall
-In her 30s
-Blonde hair that was up
-Wearing a blue strapless top and white summer trousers
One of the men is described as:
-White
-5ft 7ins tall
-In his 30s
-Shaved white hair
-Wearing a black t-shirt and dark trousers
The second man’s identity is unknown.
