Officers investigating a burglary in Winchester are appealing for witnesses.
We were called just before 9.30pm on Sunday, 16 May, to reports of the burglary at an address on Field Way. The burglary happened between 5pm and 9.25pm on 16 May.
Entry was forced to the property, and a silver Volkswagen Tiguan and a quantity of jewellery were stolen.
We have conducted a number of enquiries and are now asking the public for any information that could assist our investigation.
Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you remember seeing something suspicious?
We would be particularly keen to hear from anyone who has been approached by someone selling expensive jewellery that they are suspicious of, or if you have seen any of the below items for sale:
• A pair of Rayban aviator sunglasses with black frames and lenses, in black case.
• A Cartier Santos 100 Watch
• Three gold rings, one with a cluster of diamonds and sapphires; one with a single diamond in the band; one with a sapphire and peals.
• Two gold chain necklaces, one with diamond studded stars and the other with diamond studded hearts.
• A McKenzie Jones gold ring, which is formed into shape of a mountain profile.
Unfortunately, we don’t have images of these items at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to phone 101 with reference 44210189451. Alternatively, you can phone Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.
