We are appealing for witnesses to an assault which took place in Waterlooville in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday 31 May).
At around 12.45am, a man in his 40s was assaulted in the entrance way to Wellington Way in an unprovoked incident, by a man he did not know.
He suffered facial injuries as a result.
We have a limited description of the man who assaulted him – he was described as white, aged in his early 20s and wearing shorts and a dark top.
Enquiries are ongoing and we’re appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact police on 101, quoting 44210211104.
