We are appealing for witnesses after a 23-year-old man was assaulted in Basingstoke town centre Friday evening (11 June).
The victim was walking along Winchester Road towards the old SSE building when he was injured by a pellet, which officers believe to have come from an air rifle, between 10 and 10.30pm.
He sustained a minor injury to his elbow.
