Officers investigating an assault in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses.
We were called at 12.35am yesterday, 10 June, to reports of an assault on a pathway near to Sycamore Drive.
On arrival, officers located a 31-year-old man with a knife injury to his hand; the injury is not life threatening.
The victim was with two friends when two unknown men shouted at them before assaulting the victim.
One of the men the pulled out a knife and further assaulted the victim causing the injury to his hand.
The two suspects made off toward Sycamore Way.
The men are described as:
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries and are now turning to the public for any information that may help the investigation.
Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you have CCTV or doorbell footage that might show the offenders?
We are also keen to hear from a possible witness who shouted over the fence of a nearby property.
