Witness appeal following serious Basingstoke collision

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Basingstoke yesterday (19 December).

At 8.34pm, we were called to Worting Road, at the junction with Ringway West, following a collision involving a gold Rover 75 car and a woman in her 40s.

The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

We continue to investigate and are asking members of the public to help.
