We are investigating a collision between a pedestrian and vehicle in Ashey Road, Ryde, this morning (April 29).
The collision is believed to have happened some time between 12.30am and 1am.
A man in his 30s suffered serious injuries in the incident and was seen by paramedics.
The vehicle involved in the collision is believed to have been dark coloured and will now have damage to its front.
Officers remain at the scene this morning while our enquiries continue as to the exact circumstances.
If you have any concerns or information which may assis our investigation, then please do not hesitate to speak with them.
We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the area between 12.30am and 1am, or who may have seen a dark-coloured vehicle with damage to the front this morning.
