We are appealing for information following five reports of burglaries in the Lockerley and West Tytherley areas.
Three of the incidents took place at properties in Church Lane, West Tytherley, between 3am and 4am Sunday 9 February.
Sheds were broken into and garden machinery was stolen.
A fourth burglary took place at an address in Beales Court, West Tytherley, at around 3.50am on Sunday 9 February.
Two men were seen attempting to break into a shed. They were disturbed and ran off. Nothing was stolen.
The fifth incident took place sometime between 9.30am on Friday 7 February and 8.30am on Monday 9 February at an address in Pendle Green, Lockerley. A shed was broken into but nothing was stolen.
These incidents are being treated as linked. Our officers are making enquiries and have been carrying out reassurance patrols in these areas.
As part of our enquiries, we are keen to identify a man seen in the West Tytherley area on Saturday 8 February.
He has been described as:
• white
• aged in his late 40s
• heavy set with a large belly
• greying with grey/dirty blond hair
• around 5ft 6/7ins tall
• wearing a checked shirt and blue trousers
• seen getting into a white Ford Transit flatbed truck
