We are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted on Byron Road, Southampton.
The incident happened between 4.40am and 5.35am on Friday 11 December.
The victim, a 30-year-old woman from Southampton, was walking on Byron Road when she was approached and assaulted by a man.
She sustained injuries during the assault, they are not considered serious or life-threatening.
Officers investigating believe the attack to be sexually motivated.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged between 35 to 45-years-old, around 6ft tall and with a big build, he had straight mousy brown hair which was worn short. He was wearing a black coat, light blue jeans, and black boots.
We have conducted a number of enquiries over the weekend and are now turning to the public for help.
