Appeal after man suffered a broken hip during altercation in Southampton

We are appealing for witnesses and information after a 54 year old man was assaulted in Southampton, resulting in him sustaining a broken hip.

The incident occurred between 4pm and 4.30pm on April 10 in Bursledon Road, near to the  BP garage.

The victim was taken to hospital following the altercation which involved a woman and two other men. As well as a broken hip, he also sustained bruising to his head and concussion.
