Appeal following fail to stop collision near Hook

Officers are appealing for information following a fail to stop collision in the Hook area.
The incident happened at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, 17 September on the B3349 Reading Road at the junction with Vicarage Lane in Hound Green.
A silver vehicle was in collision with a motorcycle. The driver of the silver vehicle failed to stop and made off from the scene.
The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old man from Hook, died as a result of the collision.
We’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle make off from the area, to get in touch. The silver vehicle has been damaged as a result of the collision and we would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a damaged silver vehicle in the area.
Officers have arrested a 25-year-old man from the Reading area as part of this investigation. He remains in police custody at this time.
