Do you recognise this man? We want to speak to him in connection with an attempted robbery in Basingstoke.
The incident occurred between 4.20pm and 4.40pm on Friday, October 18 on a footpath that runs along the railway in Cowdery Heights.
The suspect approached the victim, an 18 year old man from Old Basing, and produced a serrated knife with a black handle.
He asked the victim for money. When he said he didn’t have any cash on him, he was made to empty his pockets on the floor. Nothing was stolen and the victim was able to leave the scene uninjured.
The suspect is described as being aged between 17 and 18 years old, of slim build, around six feet tall and wearing a black puffer jacket with a black hood, black tracksuit bottoms and black, thin-rimmed sunglasses.
