Officers are appealing for information following a collision in Southampton.
The collision happened at around 1.10am (BST) this morning (Sunday, 27 October) when a car, which was a black BMW 4 Series, and a pedestrian were in collision in the road at the junction of Lodge Road and Spear Road.
A 35-year-old woman from Southampton suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man from Southampton did not suffer any injuries.
Sergeant Rebecca Hodge, said: “A man stopped at the scene and left his details with officers. We’ve tried contacting him today but can’t get hold of him. If this was you, or you know this man, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to get in touch with us.”
