Officers are appealing for information after a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in Southampton.
At some time between 9.30pm and 10pm on Friday, 26 July, the teenager was in Riverside Park, Bitterne when he was approached by a group of people.
An altercation occurred and the victim suffered three stab wounds to his leg.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment. He is in a stable condition.
Detective Constable Michael Higgins, said: “We’re appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone who has any information about what happened, to get in touch with us.
“We’d also like to hear from anyone who lives in the area and has CCTV at their address, or anyone who may have been driving by and has a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle.
“We’re following a number of lines of enquiry to locate those responsible. We would encourage anyone with information to come forward and speak to us at the earliest opportunity.”
