Officers are appealing to anyone who was driving along Fairoak Road, between 12.45am and 1am on Saturday 24 August after two men were robbed.
It was reported a man in a mask holding a knife approached the two men in their 20s and demanded their wallets and PINs for their cards. The incident happened on the stretch of road, between the turn off for Alan Drayton Way onto Harvey Road, and the junction for Devine Gardens.
Neither of the men were injured.
The man has been described as standing about 6ft tall. He wore a dark blue or black hooded top with the hood up, and a white and black mask across his face, possibly with skulls on it.
Most notably he was carrying a white plastic drawstring rucksack with a red emblem on it.
If you recognise any of this clothing or you were driving in the area in the early hours of Saturday morning and have dash cam get in touch.
