We are appealing for information and witnesses after a 54 year old fisherman was seriously assaulted by a group of youths in Foxes Forest, Portsmouth.
The incident occurred between 4pm and 4.45pm on Thursday, August 8 on a path under the footbridge over the M27 near Perrone Road, Hilsea.
The victim was fishing when he was involved in a confrontation with a group of young males aged between 14 and 18 years old.
He was assaulted and received serious injuries including a fractured jaw and fractured ribs that required hospital treatment.
The group of males are believed to be white and between 14-18 years old, One suspect has dark hair and was wearing a white t-shirt. Another was of a chubby build, with long messy browny/blonde hair.
A female cyclist stopped to help the victim. Was it you or do you know who it was?
