Man who died in Portsmouth is named

We are now in a position to confirm the name of the man who died in Portsmouth in the early hours of Saturday, 10 February.

He was Oliver Joe Blatcher, 18, from Estella Road, Portsmouth.

Oliver died at Queen Alexandra Hospital; he was taken to hospital by ambulance from an address on Sackville Street, Portsmouth.

A post mortem examination has been carried out, however the findings are inconclusive. Further tests will be carried out.

Detectives continue to work hard to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the man's unexplained death, and the investigation is on-going.

Specialist officers continue to support the family at this difficult time.

A 28-year-old man and a 32-year-old man who were arrested in connection with the death have been released from custody, but remain under investigation.
