Investigation into Southsea sexual assault continues

Officers continue to investigate a sexual assault in Southsea on Saturday 6 January after man who was under investigation is released.

A 51-year-old man from Portsmouth, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted rape, has been released with no further action.


We received a report that a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Ravelin Park, between Museum Road and Cambridge Road, at around 7.20pm.
