Update: July 2018
Thank you for visiting our work experience page. Please note that, owing to the popularity of the programme, we are currently unable to accept applications for consideration for the period September 2018 - July 2019. Please continue to visit this page for further updates.
Hampshire Constabulary's work experience programme is an exciting and valuable scheme offered to all students in years 10 and 11.
If you're keen to learn more about the police service or considering a career with the police, then this is a great opportunity for you. These placements are limited and are subject to passing an interview with us.
You will need to fill out the application form in your own words and submit it to us. If you’re successful you’ll be invited to attend an interview either in person or over the phone. You will need to do some research on Hampshire Constabulary to help you prepare for your interview.
We're keen to further develop a diverse workforce which is fully representative of the communities we serve, therefore we want our work experience programme to be accessible to everyone, giving all communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight the chance to come and see what it's like to be part of Hampshire Constabulary for five days.
You can ask for feedback if you don’t get selected for an interview or for a placement. You can also complain if you think you weren’t successful because you were discriminated against, or your treatment in the interview or application process was unfair. To make a complaint, please send us an email to the address below.
