Hampshire Constabulary Work Experience Programme is an exciting and valuable scheme offered to all students in years 10 and 11.
If you are keen to learn more about the police service or considering a career in the police service, then this is a great opportunity for you. These placements are limited and are subject to passing either a phone or in person interview with us.
All students in years 10 and 11 can now apply for work experience with us for the academic year September 2018 – July 2019. There are a limited spaces available so applying early is recommended.
You will need to fill out the application form in your own words and submit it to us. If you’re successful you’ll be invited to attend an interview either in person or over the phone. You will need to do some research on Hampshire Constabulary to help you prepare for your interview.
We are keen to further develop a diverse workforce which is fully representative of the communities we serve, therefore we want the Work Experience Programme to be accessible to everyone giving all communities across Hampshire the chance to come and see what it's like to be part of Hampshire Police for 5 days.
You can ask for feedback if you don’t get selected for an interview or for a placement. You can also complain if you think you weren’t successful because you were discriminated against, or your treatment in the interview or application process was unfair. To make a complaint, please send us an email to the address below.
Update July 2018 – We are not accepting applications for Southampton, Basingstoke, Winchester and Eastleigh, area as it is now full for Sept 2018 – July 2019.
