School placements to experience policing
We offer work experience placements to school pupils in Year 10 and Year 11. These placements are limited but offer the opportunity to those who want to develop a career in policing or learn more about policing in general, and help us develop a diverse workforce which fully represents the communities we serve.
You will need to fill out an application form in your own words and submit it to us. If you’re successful you’ll be invited to attend an interview either in person or over the phone.
We are currently asking for applicants to apply for the scheme from September 2018 – July 2019. Please download and complete the application form below and send it via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Update May 2018 – We are not accepting applications for the Southampton and Winchester area as they are now full for Sept 2018 – July 2019.
You will need to complete the application in your own words. We recommend that you research Hampshire Constabulary to help you prepare for the interview.
You can ask for feedback if you don’t get selected for an interview or for a placement. You can also complain if you think you weren’t successful because you were discriminated against, or your treatment in the interview or application process was unfair. To make a complaint, please send us an email to the address below.
