Police in Basingstoke are appealing for information after a man was seen acting suspiciously in Festival Place, Basingstoke.

The man was seen harassing girls in the shopping centre at about 6pm on Sunday, September 2.

He is described as white, aged between 40 and 45, of an average build and about 5ft 9ins tall. He had a black beard and short brown hair, which was slightly balding. He was wearing blue jeans and a brown leather jacket.

PC Matt Chapman said: "Did you see a man acting suspiciously in the shopping centre? Any information may help this investigation."
