Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Headley Down near Bordon.
The incident occurred between 10.15am and 11.15am on Thursday, August 23 in Gorselands Close.
The victim, a 49-year-old man, noticed that two men were trying to remove tools from his VW Transporter van which was parked in the street.
He tried to stop his tools from being stolen and was violently assaulted.
The suspects drove away in a white Peugeot estate car having taken two Paslode nail guns in orange plastic boxes.
Both of the suspects were white men. One suspect is described as:
- 6ft 2 tall
- Muscular build
- About 30-years-old.
PC Nick Hines from Alton police station said: "This is an extremely rare occurrence which happened during the day time in a residential area.
"I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, or who saw the suspects or their vehicle in the area at the time.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to remind drivers to ensure their vehicles are locked and secure when unattended."
