Do you recognise the man in this e-fit picture?
An 18-year-old girl was approached by a man described as Eastern European - possibly Turkish, between 1am and 1.45am on Sunday, August 5, near Iceland in Victoria Road.
The girl had walked towards the town centre and stopped outside Iceland to have a cigarette. The unknown man asked her for a lighter and while she looked in her bag he committed an indecent act.
The victim shouted at the man and he left the scene and headed towards Grosvenor Road.
The man is described as aged in his 30s, about 6ft tall, and of a medium build. He had short dark-coloured hair and was wearing blue jeans and a distinctive red checked shirt.
Detective Constable Graham Robson said: "This was a particularly unpleasant incident for the victim.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have been making their way home after a night out and saw a man matching the description or the e-fit image, or saw the girl and the man standing together near Iceland, to get in touch."
