Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Hambledon.

At some time between 9.30am and 3pm on Thursday, February 21 the offender/s gained access to the rear courtyard of a property on Speltham Hill, Hambledon.

They then forced open the kitchen window.  Once inside, they searched the house and took a number of items of jewellery as well as two Apple Macbooks and a television.

They then left the property.

The stolen items are described as:
- A quantity of African jewellery including a 3 carat diamond ring
- Two white Apple Macbook laptops
- A 42" LCD TV

PC Craig Robinson, said: "It is thought that the offender/s used a vehicle to drive to and from the scene, given the relatively remote location and the fact that a boxed 42" television was taken.

"I am particularly interested to hear from anyone in the Hambledon area who may have had unusual callers recently or noticed anything suspicious in the area.

"As always I would remind people to be vigilant and take reasonable steps to ensure the security of their homes."
