Police are appealing for information after thousands of pounds of jewellery was stolen from a shop in Winchester.

The incident took place just before 11pm on Sunday, February 17 at Bellis, Winchester High Street.

Three men forced their way into the shop and stole Pandora charms and bracelets valued at £40,000.

They left the shop and ran off in the direction of St Thomas Street.

Acting Detective Sergeant Ewan Gardner, said: "I am appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to come forward.  We believe the offenders used two vehicles to leave the scene.  Did you see any vehicles in the area being driven to or from the scene that could be linked to this incident?  Did you see anyone acting suspiciously?

"Pandora jewellery is distinctive and I would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered any Pandora items for sale.  All information will be treated in the strictest confidence."

A 44-year-old woman from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle and is currently in police custody.
