Police in Andover are appealing for information to help identify two people.

Officers have received a number of complaints about two motorbikes being ridden around the area of Pilgrims Way, River Way, Cricketers Way and Augusta Park.  The bikes have been seen being ridden in a dangerous manner whilst on the road, footpaths and in open spaces.

The first bike is described as a yellow coloured, off road bike.  The second bike is described as a blue coloured, pit bike.

PC Helen Mackenzie, said: "We have received a number of complaints from local residents who are concerned about the manner in which these bikes are being ridden.  The yellow bike has been seen during the afternoon and early evening, and the blue bike has been seen during the evening.  Neither of the bikes have registration plates.

"The area that the bikes have been seen in is a large residential area, where there are a lot a lot of children, dog walkers and elderly residents. 

"We need to identify the riders of these bikes as soon as possible.  If you know who these people are, please contact us at the earliest opportunity, your information will be treated in strict confidence.  You can also contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
