Police are appealing for information following an incident of theft in Andover.

The theft took place at some time between 10am and 12.50pm on Sunday, September 16 while the victims were playing football.

The offender/s entered the changing rooms at Batchelors Barn Road playing fields and took a number of items from five different victims.

The items taken were a black Ben Sherman wallet contating £40, a driving licence and a bank card; a black Gio Goi wallet with a yellow strap containing £30, a driving licence and a bank card; a silver 'Hawaii' phone; a black and white Animal wallet; a Blackberry phone, and some loose change.

PC Raymond Cox, said: "Whilst members of the team were playing football, the offender or offenders have entered the changing rooms and stolen a number of items.

"I would urge anyone with any information about this incident to come forward.  Were you in the area at the time of the incident?  Have you seen any similar items discarded in the area?  Any information will be treated in strict confidence."
