Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a hairdressers in Petersfield.


The burglary occurred during the early hours of Friday, September 14 at Lisa Edwards Hairdressers, High Street, Petersfield.

The offender or offenders gained entry at the back of the premises by forcing open a window.  Once inside the offender/s searched the premises and stole a cash box which contained around £60.

The empty cash box was recovered in a nearby bin.

PC Andrew Brookes, said: "I am appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to come forward.  Were you in the area during the early hours of September 14?  Did you see or hear anything suspicous?  I would urge anyone with information to make contact with us as soon as possible."
