Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary in Tadley.

Between 12.30am and 6.30am on Tuesday, October 2, offender(s) gained access to a house in Herriard Way, Tadley, by putting a tool through the letter box and opening the door.

Once inside, the offender(s) have stolen keys to a van and a laptop.

PC Lee Stanbrook said: "Were you in the Herriard Way area in the early hours of Tuesday, October 2? Did you see anything suspicious?

"I would also like to remind people to ensure their homes are secured, even when they are in.

"Doors should be locked from the inside using the key and the key removed. Everyone in the house should know where the key is kept, in case of an emergency.

"Car keys shouldn't be left on display and we encourage people to take them upstairs when they go to bed."
