Police in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses after an incident at a house in the Brighton Hill area of the town.
Shortly before 2pm on October 4, two men called at a flat in Tallis Gardens. They had weapons with them and are believed to have threatened people at the flat.
The men then ran off towards the rear of Tallis Gardens, onto Cumberland Avenue and out of sight.
The first man is described as black, aged in his late 20s, about 5ft 6ins tall and of a medium build. He was clean shaven and had gold teeth.
The second man is described as black, aged in his early 20s, about 6ft tall and of a skinny build. He had stubble on his face.
PC Richard Chegwidden said: "Due to the serious circumstances in relation to this incident, I would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about it.
"If you saw the offenders running from the scene or anything suspicious in the area, please contact me."
A 24-year-old man from Basingstoke and a 25-year-old man from Farnborough were arrested in connection with this incident, but have since been released with no further action.
