Police are appealing for information following two incidents of indecencies in Alton.

At 3.45pm on Saturday, October 27 a 9-year-old girl saw a white van driving along Lansdown Road, Alton.  As she walked past the van, she saw the man inside had his trousers down and was exposing himself.

Police received a second report from a 16-year-old girl who saw a white van driving through the High Street, Alton, three times, at some time between 6.30pm and 8.15pm on Friday, October 26.  On the third occasion she saw that the driver had his trousers down.

Sergeant Ian Dugdale, said: "I am appealing for anyone who has any information about either of these incidents to come forward and speak to us.  Were you in Lansdown Road or the High Street around the time of these incidents?  Do you have any information that could assist us?

"As always, I would urge members of the community to report any suspicious activity to the police at the earliest opportunity."
