Police have released an efit image following a series of six burglaries across Winchester and East Hampshire.
The burglaries took place on Thursday, November 15 at addresses on Church Road, Upper Farringdon, The Street, Binstead, Woodlands, Bramdean, Lower Chilland Lane, Martyr Worthy, the B3047, Bishop's Sutton, and a house near to the B3046, Old Alresford.
Officers have descriptions of two possible suspects, one of whom features in the efit, who were seen on the driveway of a house in Martyr Worthy at around 11.10am on Thursday, November 15. They were disturbed by the homeowners. One of the men then approached them and said he was lost and trying to get directions to Alresford. Both men then got into a vehicle and drove off towards Alresford.
PC Craig Robinson, said: "We believe that the men were disturbed before trying to gain access to the property in Martyr Worthy. I am appealing for anyone who recognises these men to come forward and speak to us.
"As we approach the festive season, we would encourage people to ensure their home security is optimised, such as security lighting, including internal timer switches; ensuring homes are locked and secured whilst they are out, marking property with UV pens, photographing valuable or distinctive jewellery, and considering keeping expensive or sentimental items in a safety deposit box at their bank."
