Detectives have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery in Farnborough.

Details of the incident have been released previously but officers are now hoping the E-fit will assist in finding those responsible.

The victim, an 18-year-old man was on his mobile phone while walking along Trunk Road, near to the junction with Brownsover Road, at about 8.40pm on Sunday, November 4.

The driver of a silver hatchback car pulled over and asked for the time.

About five minutes later, two men approached the victim on foot and asked to look at his phone. He refused and then one of the men demanded he hand over his phone and threatened him.

The men then told him to walk away before calling him back and demanding he hand over his wallet. The victim then handed over his HTC Cha Cha mobile phone and a brown wallet.

The victim believes these two men were the same people he saw in the car who asked him for the time. They then left and walked into Brownsover Road.

The man who threatened the victim is described as:

  • An Asian or mixed race man
  • Aged in his late teens or early 20s
  • About 5ft 10ins tall
  • Slim build
  • Dark hair
  • High pitched voice and had difficulty speaking English.
  • He was wearing a black hooded zip-up top.

The second man is described as:

  • White
  • Aged in his early 20s
  • Stocky build
  • About 6ft 1-2ins tall.
  • He had a shaved head.

Detective Constable Sue Champion said: "I would like to hear from anyone who thinks they can identify the man in the E-fit image.

"I'd also like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and noticed a silver hatchback car or two men acting suspiciously."

Can you help?
