Detectives are appealing for two people who were assaulted in Fleet Road in the early hours of Sunday, June 10, to come forward.
It is believed there was an altercation inside Charcoal Grill at about 1.15am which then spilled out onto Fleet Road. A man is thought to have assaulted two men, causing them both to fall to the ground, before leaving in a vehicle.
Police arrested a man shortly after the incident.
However, the victims did not make themselves known to officers when they returned to the scene.
The first victim is described as a man aged between 20 and 30, of a medium build with short brown hair. He was wearing jeans and a grey hooded-top.
The second victim is described as a man aged between 19 and 25, of a slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing a black suit and white shirt.
PC Jen Tasker said: "If you were assaulted or you know who the victims are, please contact me. I am sure there were many people in the area at the time, so equally, if you have any information about an incident, please get in touch."
